As a member of the Techstars Boston Alumni Board, I designed and ran monthly networking/demo nights that consistently drew 80+ alumni, investors, and partners. I also organized a speaker series featuring top founders, VCs, and experts on topics like go-to-market strategy and fundraising. After participating in Techstars Demo Day myself, I helped organize Demo Day and related events—working directly with sponsors and event coordinators to ensure smooth execution and maximize exposure for our startups.
On the partnership front, I worked with co-working spaces, VC firms, and sponsors to underwrite scholarships and co-host events, expanding our reach into new segments of Boston’s startup community. By using attendee feedback and tracking participation, I refined programming and drove a 30% year-over-year increase in event attendance, growing active alumni engagement by 40%. At least three portfolio companies attribute their first strategic partnerships, key hires, or early fundraising wins to introductions made at the events I organized, reinforcing Boston’s reputation as a Techstars hub.
